Sark Triathlon

Mr Hester's Triathlon! One of the most beautiful places on the planet for a swim/run/bike. The legendary Mr Hester’s Sark Triathlon will be back in 2023. A great way to start the triathlon season with something a bit different. A short swim in the harbour, a scenic run along the Sark cliffs, and some fun on local hire bikes. Costumes optional. Relay teams welcome. Duathlon (run/bike) options also available. Start time will be set to enable a day return from Guernsey, or make a weekend of it - stay over and support Sark’s wonderful hospitality industry.

Race Entry: If you’re a member of the Guernsey Triathlon Club your entry is FREE, you will have to confirm your membership at sign-up. If you’re a non-member the fee will be £15 for an individual entry and £30 per relay team (please decide on a team name and enter this name during sign up).

The Race Detail:

Swim 250m (with wetsuits being mandatory)

Run 8km

Bike 14km The swim will be in the Creux Harbour starting at 11:30, with T1 on the slipway.

9am - 10am - Sign in at Creaux Harbour

10.45 - Competitor Briefing

11.30am Race Start

1. Tandems entries are welcome but will not count in the overall standings. 

2. Failure to complete the published course will result in a DNF. 

3. Any competitor who deliberately ignores a marshal’s instructions/directions will be disqualified.
